CREATOVATION

"Design Thinking is not just about creating products, but about solving human problems and addressing social challenges by focusing on empathy, creativity, and collaboration."
David Kelley, Founder of IDEO

Design Thinking is a human-centered approach to problem-solving that emphasizes empathy, creativity, and iterative learning. It encourages understanding the real needs of people and focuses on generating innovative solutions by involving users directly in the design process. This method is widely used not only in product development but also in social innovation, business strategy, and organizational change.

The 5 Stages of Design Thinking:

  1. Empathy
Understand the users' needs, experiences, and challenges through research and observation.

  2. Define
Clearly articulate the problem based on insights gathered from the empathy stage.

  3. Ideate
Generate a wide range of creative ideas and potential solutions to the defined problem.

  4. Prototype
Develop simple, low-cost versions of potential solutions to test ideas quickly.

  5. Test
Evaluate prototypes with real users, gather feedback, and refine the solution iteratively.

This process is non-linear, meaning designers may move back and forth between stages as needed.
